Who is Betty Jean Jameson?

"You may as well take her home. She hasn't long to live; we've done everything we can for her." In the 1930s, it wasn't unusual for doctors to misdiagnose severe streptococcus infections as rheumatic fever. Only four, Betty promised herself, "I'll show that doctor: I'm not going to die!" Even at this early age, Betty's determined personality and interest in health were already evident. Betty healed with a vengeance.

Luckily, a wealthy aunt visited her home, saw Betty lying on a cot, with the family waiting for her to die and offered to take her home. Within two years Betty was on the stage using some of her creative talents. She became an accomplished tap, acrobatic and adagio dancer; joined a theatrical troupe; learned dramatic acting and was offered a Hollywood screen test. She did a few bit parts with MGM, including the role of a piano player in a Ronald Reagan movie. At the age of eleven, her Aunt enrolled her in the First Christian Spiritualist Church in Hollywood. Where she developed her clairvoyant abilities.

Let us skip ahead quite a few years. By 1955 she had joined a laboratory in Lake Geneva Wisconsin, that was producing vitamin E, from organically grown soybeans. she became a traveling sales person for them, selling to farmers in a 200 mile radius. At every sales visit, customers remarked that since the government mandated use of chemical fertilizers during World War II, the incidence of colds and illness had increased. They ask Betty to pursuade the laboratory to offer a full range of vitamins and minerals for the family. The lab and Betty obliged.

With the health questions Betty was getting from her customers, required her to learn more about nutrition, so she earned her Certified Nutritionist diploma in 1964. By 1967 while living in Lake Forest IL., she read Hippocrates, the father of medicine, and his feeling about astrology. "A physician without the knowledge of astrology has no right to call himself a physician." This was a watershed leading her to become adept in the medical field of astrology, which is devoted to studing the human body, in disease and health according to the astrological symbolism included in a horoscope. By 1970, using much of her psychic intuitive sense, combined with astrology and her nutritional training gave her a reputation that attracted very wealthy and dedicated clients, that have brought their children and are now bringing their grandchildren to her.

The more she listened to people telling her about their unsolveable health problems, and finding their birth charts had part of their answer, for many problems were started in a previous lifetime. Betty realized the full solution called for her clients to change their thinking patterns. To fill that gap, she sought out Earl Nightingale, a well-known motivational talk radio host for Chicago's WGN radio in the 50's. Earl and Lloyd Conant had founded the Nightingale-Conant Coporation in 1960, becoming the world's largest producer of motivational self-improvement products teaching positive thinking. Then she became a distributor for the Nightingale-Conant Corp. in 1972.

By 1977, she went to work in a health food store in Highland Park, to learn all about the business, and Betty opened her first health food store in Buffalo Grove in 1981 and a second store in Palatine in 1985. Finally, by 1990 she began using therepeutic astrology, which helps clients understand why they are going through a certain situation and not to fear it. Today Betty's mission is to reach every person, ready to discover their potential, learn how to nourish their bodies for vibrant health, keep a powerful mind, fulfilling their mission for this lifetime and staying enthusiastic until the day they are called home.
